Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to deliver key financial objectives between Operations and Finance. Work must be delivered to specification in accordance with agreed company standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities involve the generation of POs based on confirmed operational data
  • Review of POs to ensure no duplication
  • Management and application of retentions on subcontractors
  • Liaising with Operations and 3rd parties on differences between POs and Invoices
  • Liaise with Finance team members on invoice processing and payment
  • Maintain rate cards and ensure correct application of same
  • Ensure that daily risks are identified, managed and that mitigating actions are implemented and/or that these are escalated to the relevant stakeholders where warranted.
  • Management and documentation of lessons learned.
  • Professional customer engagement.
  • Manage customer expectations.
  • Meet customer SLA’s
  • Tracking and reporting on out of scope project budgets
  • Ability to work to tight timelines.
  • Pro-active attitude, generates ideas and inputs to deliverables to support the effectiveness and efficiency of all customer requirements.
  • Continuously improving efficiencies in team co-ordination and planning.
  • Delivers on time and to budget

Requirements

  • Previous experience with POs and Invoicing
  • Customer centric
  • Strong financial awareness
  • Strong PC skills, particularly MS office suite. (Specifically strong excel experience is a must)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Strong team working ethos.
  • Very good English language skills
  • Presentable appearance.
  • While experience in a telecoms/engineering admin role is not required, it would be considered an advantage.
