Project: Fibre Optic Network Build for a Major Operator in Ireland (Focused on MDU + OLT Builds)

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GIS & Fibre Design Specialist to join our Design Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering fibre optic network designs, for MDU and SDU ~ OLT builds, using advanced GIS tools and design software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize ArcGIS products (Maps, Apps, Dashboards, and Survey123) for planning, designing, and reporting project progress.
• Create and review fibre network designs for MDUs & SDU’s, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
• Use AutoCAD to produce clear and professional designs for MDU layouts.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to communicate project updates and resolve design challenges.
• Maintain high-quality outputs with excellent attention to detail.
• Support the team in meeting deadlines and delivering solutions effectively.
• Engage in PIA processes

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal for internal and client interactions.
• Proficiency in GIS tools, specifically ArcGIS Maps, Apps, Dashboards, and Survey123.
• Experience with AutoCAD for MDU fibre network designs is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating with a wider team.
