Safety and Wellness Week – Day 1

Secto Services Annual Safety and Wellness Week kicked off yesterday, the emphasis on this year’s safety and wellness week is around the companies 10 platinum health and safety rules. Yesterday we were delighted to welcome members of National Broadband Ireland out to conduct a site visit. Pictured below with members of the Secto HSEQ team is Caroline Mullins (HSEQ Advisor NBI) and Stephen Conneely (Clerk of Works NBI). Thanks a million for the participation here in re-enforcing the importance of safety across all aspects of work.

Another key theme this week is Mental Health Awareness. Yesterday we had the brilliant Rory O’Conor from Rory’s Stories with us to conduct a virtual mental health session with all staff. Rory spoke brilliantly around his own personal struggles and the tools he has used to overcome mental health issues. The key message here is – Never be afraid to speak to someone. Secto are more than happy to provide support to any member of staff who may need it.
