Who is Secto?
Based just outside Dublin with national coverage, Secto is an innovative company which offers Engineering and Project Management expertise to Telecoms and Technical Services customers across Ireland and the UK.
We are recognised as a quality partner to large organisations for telecoms, commissioning, data centre management, facilities and technical services.
Quality, Safety and Project Delivery are the keystones of our development to date and it is on these attributes that we have grown into new sectors, new services and new markets.
Secto was formed in 2011 to address the need for a better customer service approach to the provision of telecoms services. Initially, Secto provided Power, Rigging and Fibre Infrastructure services. In the intervening period, Secto has matured into a fast-growing partner for many more larger companies in the telecom industry in Ireland and UK. More recently, Secto now supports multi-national companies in Ireland.
What does Secto do?
Secto works with our customers and other partners to deliver integrated planning, design, build and commissioning of advanced communication networks, civil engineering and utilities projects across a range of sectors. Secto also offers a robust and flexible Technical Service Contract service to Government and Blue Chip clients.
We have a nationwide team of highly skilled people who possess a wealth of experience and have a proven track record of delivering turnkey infrastructure solutions to the telecommunications, broadcast, and utility industries in Ireland and the UK.
Our technical services division delivers facilities management, maintenance, commissioning, design and installation to projects in the sectors of pharma, data centres, semi conductors, aviation and others.
Who do we do it for?
Secto provides reliable, uninterrupted service for mobile, data and telecommunications sites throughout Ireland, UK and Europe.
Based in our head office in Maynooth and our main logistics and stores centre in Athlone, we are strategically located to service all of Ireland. Our mission is to be innovative, dynamic and continually challenge ourselves to deliver cost effective solutions that enhance our customers’ experience.
Where we are going
The future for Secto is bright. We have engaged with our staff and other stakeholders to agree and publish our Core Values. One such core value is our Focus on the Future – we have ambitious plans to develop our footprint in Ireland and overseas.
Our growth to date reflects the confidence that our customers have in our service delivery, in the innovative approach that we bring to how we do our work, and to our culture of safety and quality.
History of Secto
Since the acquisition of Secto by Connor Flanagan and Patrick Jordan in 2017, the company has invested heavily in people, processes and technology. The leadership team has been replaced in its entirety and a companywide process mapping exercise has enabled new level of process efficiency and a baseline for an ERP deployment which is in progress.
Pivot to a more diverse company
While Secto’s early years predominately featured Telecom’s activity, the recent years has seen a controlled pivot to Commissioning, Facilities Management and Managed Services activities. Our growing Managed Services activity includes Corporate Services support to Intel Leixlip, Data Centre services to Enet, BT & Meteor for Power, Cooling and N + 1 re-active support. Pharmaceutical and Bio-Medical is another growing area of interest for Secto.
